You are welcome to ask for our options of activities for children and parents alike as we are certain our selection will have something for everyone, whether its croquet or boules, Le Grand Jardin cultivates a joyous environment that encourages fun and games.
 
Our Adventurous Trail
 
For the future explorers, we also have our exciting Alice in Wonderland journey around the dam—with the option to dress up and enjoy the theatrics of the storybook trail! The exploration can finish with a Mad Hatters Tea Party to truly finish the narrative of fun, we also offer the Grand Vin De Stellenbosch rosé for the parents to indulge in.
 
The Joy of Nature
 
A wonderful opportunity for family bonding arises in our family yoga session that can be enjoyed on the grass together, enhancing the reconnection with nature and one another. Follow this with some wild swimming in our eco pool and a relaxing steam or time in the jacuzzi to truly unwind, allowing the sunlight to brighten your time together. Our zipline is also there for the brave hearted and those desiring to soar above the ground.
 
Share in a Cooking Experience
 
One of the best ways to spend time together is over the beauty of food, which is why we propose an opportunity for you to find your inner Master Chef and bond over a family cooking experience under the guidance of our resident chef. She will assist your creation of a meal you can indulge in together. For this activity, we suggest a maximum of six people so as to better involve everyone.
 
A popular alternative is our evening of pizza making using our wood fired pizza oven, which encourages everyone can get involved in making Italian style pizzas. Round off the night with an outdoor movie in our expansive gardens under the sparkling stars. Even better is the opportunity to include the delicacy of gelato from our vintage ice cream trolley, available throughout the day.
